Note: Telemac reads Seraphin Files.


This program allows to define geometry, grid, and boundaries conditions files.

First, user have to create a plan (click on créer projet). Then :

(click on geo icon)

1- Créer lignes

2- Interpoler : create points - project

Note: All points must be define "dur"

3- Specify outlines: Selectionner le contour - edition - type de lignes - contour

(click on M.N.T.)

1- User must select with mouse all domain

2- Definition du critère- calculer critère

(click on Maillage)

3- Calculer Maillage

(click on Conditions aux limites then on edition (menu))

1- select enveloppe

2- surround each outline by clicking around. Then, créer groupe

Note: For fluid boundary condition, the two external points must be select.

Recommandation: Verify correspondance between grid nodes of geo file and specification of the boundaries conditions.


Note: If you have difficulties to run Telemac-2d, tries this:

1- go to kshell (command: ksh)

2- copy n7.envir on your count (this file is in Telemac Directory).

3- tape . n7.envir (new racine must be $)

4- run Telemacd

With Matisse, we have create geometry and boundaries conditions files. We must create two files :

Two choices : with EDAMOX or with a text editor.

Note: Even if you redefine Q (in fortran file), you must specify values of Q across outlines.

An exemple :



First, create project (specify results file, rubens file, your telemac directory)

1- select surface colorées

2- select hauteur d'eau and physical time

3- selectinitialisation

4- select default

1- select données

2- select variables séparées

3- positionne cursor in interpreteur, define a variable name (for example vit) by writting vit = (vecteur_U, vecteur_V)

4- select vecteur

5- select your defined variable and operate in same way as water height
