FIRST CASE


 
The following results come from computation with a two components flow (air-water) in a  89.9 meters lenght horizontal pipe  .
                                   Pipe diameter is constant equal to 5.3 cm .
                                   Components velocities : U(gas) = 3.75 m/s
                                                                               U(liquid) = 1.0 m/s
                                   The flow temperature is constant in the pipe, equal to 20 degrees C (293 K) .
 

Moreover, it was possible to compare numericals data with experimentals data performed by E.Gadoin (Thesis IMFT 1993).
 
 


In this case, according to the results , with the same conditions, TACITE code seems to overestimate only a little bit the experimentals data.
