The sessions of MCIP-A were for us the opportunity to work on AVBP, an industrial code for fluid dynamics owned and developped by the IFP and Cerfacs institutes.
The first part of our work was to learn how to process simulations using the AVBP code. A summary of our first steps with AVBP is briefly sumed up and can be use for future beginners.
Then two individual projects have been performed.

The second study, realized by Marlène Sanjosé, focuses on inlet boundary conditions, using a QPF (Von Karman street in air behind a cylinder). Several inlet conditions have been tested and their influences on the general flow have observed.
