Aims


First of all, I must use the system symmetry to reduce the meshgrid size. Next, the meshgrid must be approved with a simulation in single phase. So, I will be able to begin the two-phase simulations after getting knowledge about the differents two-phase models. All these simulations will be steady. These results will be the ground of our comparison with the unsteady or three-phase simulations. After that, the work could be centered on two differents points :


In the same time, the theoretical study will deal with the quantification of the shearing in the flow. This study will be done on the local scale (the boundary layer of the bubble). It will be interesting to compare the results with the shearing values, which can cause the plop break.
