We have studied a flow on a parabolic hump: with no friction (and with an inviscid fluid), the results are quite equal to the analytical solution. The small differencies are due to the numerical dissipation in the hump. When we introduce friction, the flow is modified as the physical solution. A transcritical case, containing a hydraulic jump, have been computed by using two methods. And at the end, we try to remove this hydraulic jump, by reducing the bottom friction. It didn't work.
So to conclue, we could say that Telemac-2d compute the quite right solution (in our cases) and offer many possibilities (friction, turbulence, salinity...). But the most difficulties is to understand how to make the data file.
