Differential viscoelastic isothermal problem:

We tested the same probleme (Mixing) with viscoelastic fluid. In this case, we must choose a viscoelastic model. The following results are obtained using Maxwell model.

This modelisation of constraints is: Tau + Lambda * Tau' = 2 eta * ( D + Lambdar D')

Tau = Tau1 +Tau2

Tau1 + Lambda * Tau1' = 2 *eta (D + Lambdar * D') - 2eta2 D - 2eta2 * Lambda * D'

Tau2 = 2*eta2 * D

With D' is D upper convected derivative of D and Tau' is Tau upper convected derivative of D

Pressure, 10 steps, Newtonien Pressure, 10 steps, viscoelastic fluid

Velocity, 10 steps, Newtonien fluid Velocity, 10 steps, viscoelastic fluid

The density is the same in both cases. Results show there is no difference of velocity. The only difference is the pressure field.
