A decade ago, Lyapunov's theory was relatively unknown although it had already been rediscovered in the Soviet Union and was being applied to the design of nonlinear control system. This is no longer the case and today there is extensive literature on theory and it's applications to the design and analysis of electrical circuits, feedback control mechanisms, nuclear reactors, gyroscopic stabilisation of orbital satellites, chemical kinetics, plasma stability, the analysis of human respiratory system, etc.

            In this project, both classical and Lyapunov methods are focsed on. In fact, a MATLAB program based on the fourth order Runge Kutta scheme is created to solve diffrential equations of linear and nonlinear systems.
