Introduction








The aim of  CFJD is to compare FLUENT (an industrial code) with JADIM (a search code). In order to reach this objective, we have decided to study a air bubble in an uniform water flow. This choice depended on JADIM's specifity (create to study diphasic flow). Unfortunately, we didn't succed in getting valid results from a quantitative point of view. Nevertheless, we've had conform results for the general behaviour of the flow. So, we'll try to explain, in this report, why it didn't work. Then, we will try to suggest different solutions to get over.
