THEODOLITE

Le théodolite est un appareil utilisé en génie civil, qui permet d'obtenir l'altitude, et la distance relative entre deux points. Le principe est le suivant: un rayon laser est envoyé et réfléchi par une cible, le déphasage introduit permet d'obtenir l'angle de mesure et la distance par rapport à un point de référence, l'appareil calcule alors l'altitude du point de mesure, et la distance horizontale par rapport au point de référence.

La cible est montée sur un pied qui doit être maintenu à la même hauteur pendant toute la série de mesures, afin de garder la même hauteur relative.

· Laser output can be switched by function key to 1 mW to dim the beam for short range use.

Protection against water splash
· LDT50 complies with IPX4 (IEC529), affording protection from water splash from any direction
· Can safely be used in humid and wet underground spaces

Fully transiting telescope
· Telescope can be fully rotated. Easier to use than the former model LDT5

Remarkable angle measurement accuracy with 2-axis compensator
· The LDT50 is equipped with Sokkia's proven dual-axis compensator. The sensor monitors the tilt of the instrument in the X and Y directions and compensates the horizontal and vertical angle readings.
· No need to level the instrument perfectly. The LDT50 compensates for instrument tilt and displays the angles with maximum precision.
· An error message is displayed to prevent mis-reading when the instrument tilts beyond the compensation range.

Shifting-type model LDT5S
The standard model LDT5 has 5/8' screw, while the LDT5S is a shifting-type model for simple set-up over a known point.
It has a 35mm-screw and thus uses a special tripod like PFA6.
