AVBP Code on Linux Cluster (ACLC)
Authors : A.Stoukov
-
Objective : Recently, the CERFACS
carried out the porting of AVBP
code on Linux. Thus, we have a possibility of installing and of testing
a parallel version of this code on the cluster of 20 Linux workstations.
The installation of this code on the cluster will make possible to future
students to compute a large problems(close to 5 GBytes of memory) with
AVBP.
-
Duration : 6 weeks
Working plan :
-
ITML.1 : Reading the documentation of MPI and AVBP.
-
ITML.2 : AVBP installation and compilation.
-
ITML.3 : Simple tests, benchmarking.
-
ITML.4 : Large problem computation.
-
ITML.5: Writing of the report and the manual
