Fluent: Flow in a Corrugated Tubular Membrane
-
Person in charge: P. Schmitz
-
Objective :
-
The aim of this task is to test the coupling between turbulent flow and
porous media flow in Fluent. The example is the flow in a corrugated tubular
membrane used in crossflow microfiltration processes. Different porous
media will be considered (weak permeability and high permeability) allowing
for the application of the different models of porous media flows proposed
by Fluent.

-
FCTM.2 : Running the non corrugated tubular membrane
-
FCTM.3 : Running the corrugated tubular membrane
-
