Ste Barbe

Once upon a time was a french locality called "Pays Basque" .

Near the franco-spanish borderline was a little nice village called St Jean-de-Luz.

where the coast is beautiful.

To protect it, the Ste Barbe dyke was built. This construction modified the waves dynamics and especially "the right of the Barbe".

" The long right witha rad take off wraps around pier N of the bay. At the end of the wave is 'Les Flots Bleus', a peaky point break. Concrete blocks used for beach protection may destroy the wave."
